The De Luca Foundation is proud to announce ₹500 lakh INR to support Access to Science Graduate Scholarships honoring the late Smt. Bhagyamma B, whose selfless support for education & science helped those from economically-challenged backgrounds realize their maximum potential.
In brief, twenty-five (25) scholarships will be awarded to master’s-level students looking to pursue a Ph.D. in Engineering or Applied Health Sciences.
- Each recipient will receive a total of ₹20 lakh to complete a 4-yr Ph.D. program.
- ₹10 lakh INR will be provided in financial support towards completing the Ph.D. with a further donation of EMG equipment valued at ₹10 lakh INR.
- Preference will be given to outstanding M.E./MTech/MS/MSc candidates actively working in an established research facility focused on Applied Neuromuscular Research.
The De Luca Foundation supports researchers and students around the world through various mechanisms with the goal of fostering a path of innovation and breakthroughs in Electromyography and Human Movement Sciences. In supporting the next generation of Indian researchers, advancements across rehabilitation, neuromuscular control, biomechanics, and human-machine interactions have the potential to accelerate the research field’s discoveries and translation.
