Announcing the Winners of Seed for Science 2024: EMG in Unity

Seed for Science 2024 had an exciting spin: EMG in Unity! EMG alongside augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) can enable digital twins, aid in telerehabilitation, control human-computer interactions, and provide neuromuscular feedback for gamified sports training. Through Unity, a game development platform that enables users to design real-time applications featuring AR/VR, physiological sensing can be combined to open exciting new opportunities in research and revolutionize the use of EMG!

The De Luca Foundation received a total of 106 applications to Seed for Science from 23 countries across the globe. We are confident that the 4 selected winners will create groundbreaking applications showcasing how EMG and AR/VR can be used in tandem to push the boundaries of research.
