- There may only be one applicant per submission. If you are working on the same project as other applicants and you would like to be considered for the Applied EMG Award, you should each submit your own application where you outline your specific role in the project.
- You are restricted to the space provided in the official PDFs. Do not try to exceed the space provided in any way. You must use the official PDFs we provide.
- An individual may submit multiple applications.
- Multiple people from the same institution may apply.
- The $2,500 will be paid to the institution and relayed to the winner in the form of a stipend. The institution may not recover indirect costs from this stipend. The stipend can be used for any other purposes related to the research project.
- If you conduct research at multiple institutions, you must choose one institution to process your stipend and receive your equipment.
- Research projects are scheduled to take place over one semester. We are willing to offer a no-cost extension if the project is not finished at the conclusion of a single semester. However, we will not be providing additional funding if this is the case.
