De Luca Foundation is pleased to announce the 2020 Equipment Donation Initiative of 12 Mobile EMG + Force Assessment systems valued @ 42,000 USD.
The purpose of the initiative is to encourage future generations of Biomechanists, Ergonomists, Exercise Physiologists, and Physiotherapists to develop their area of expertise using simple, yet powerful, mobile tools and technologies.
What is included in the EMG equipment donation?
Selected candidates will receive a 2-Sensor Trigno Avanti Mobile System or a Trigno Hand Performance Monitor.
Who should apply?
The initiative offers a new opportunity for researchers, clinicians, and educators to incorporate small-scale EMG + Force measurement tools into their human movement projects, including but not limited to:
- Aging/Sarcopenia
- Exercise Physiology
- Nutrition, Fitness, and Obesity
- Motor Disorders
- Gait Analysis
- Physiotherapy
Deadline: 15th of each month. Applications will be reviewed on a monthly basis.
The process: Equipment donation requests can be submitted by a qualified graduate student, employee, or faculty affiliated with an academic, clinical, or research institution worldwide.
