The importance of neuromuscular and cardiovascular research in India is at an all-time high. The Integrative Motion Award provides pioneering Indian scientists the opportunity to explore how these exciting systems interact.
What Is the Integrative Motion Award?
The Integrative Motion Award is a standalone grant program, designed to support independent researchers in India who are interested in the interaction between the neuromuscular and cardiovascular systems of the human body. This year, the De Luca Foundation will select two winners in India who will conduct novel pilot research studies using the tools provided in the packages listed here.

Our Goal: To Promote the International Growth of Research in Integrated Motion
The Integrative Motion Award provides researchers with the tools and technology to explore EMG and it’s physiological integrations. Each winner will receive a $5,000 stipend, Trigno EMG equipment provided by Delsys, and either Moxy or VO2master equipment for physiological sensing.
Selected candidates will utilize Delsys’ integrative technology to examine the interplay between the cardiovascular and neuromuscular systems of the human body.

Application Process
Design an innovative research proposal that explores the interaction between the neuromuscular and cardiovascular systems. Your proposal should be specific to the package you are applying for and should include all of the equipment provided in the package. If you would like to apply for both packages, you will need to create two different research proposals.
Criteria for Evaluation
Research proposals will be evaluated based on their novelty, feasibility, and potential impact.
